Are you kinda…
Are you kinda…
I was sitting on the couch, kinda watching the footy with my son.
Kinda replying to emails.
Kinda doom scrolling.
Which is to say: I was doing nothing properly.
At one point, he turned to me and said,
“Did you see that, Daddy?”
I smiled and nodded.
But I hadn’t seen a thing.
That’s the problem with being kinda present.
It feels like enough.
But it’s not.
You’re kinda showing up.
Kinda connecting.
Kinda listening.
But here’s the truth:
Kinda doesn’t really count.
It doesn’t create memories.
It doesn’t build trust.
It doesn’t build presence.
These are my 3️⃣ tidbits to take away:
1. Kinda is the enemy of connection
Doing things half-present means missing the moments that matter.
2. Attention wins
Trying to do it all means doing none of it well.
3. Presence is your legacy
People won’t remember your inbox. They’ll remember how you made them feel. Be present
Because life deserves more than kinda!
